I’ve tried different cables, computers, and usb ports, powered and none powered USB hubs, and still doesn’t work. If this was a huge issue you might want to try a powered USB hub. Nov 16, 3: Sorry to hear that you can’t use it anymore.

Keystation 49 not recognized on Mac OS X

God Bless eveyone, except for M-Audio! I have the same insanely irritating problem, when I turn the M-audio keyboard on it gives me a few notes or half a chord and than just silence in GarageBand.

That link you posted is the closest I’ve ever gotten to a solution. This keyboard is class compliant so there are no additional drivers.
